Coaching...Free?

posted by admin on Mon 20 of Oct, 2008 [04:53 UTC]
By now, most of you have seen a few of the many offers of "Personal Coaching" classes, websites, and ebooks...running the full gamut from $19.95 one-time to a monthly $99.95...Nearly all with a common thread: Some self-proclaimed overnight-guru wants to explain his marketing fluke for a fee, to as many suckers as possible before his ruse is discovered.

Pop Stran, the owner of this network, started marketing on the Web before it was even a household word...Online from the start, he saw the birth of AOL as the fuse that would blow the Internet apart.
*(Unlike 96% of his counterparts, he's still here...)

AOL killed Compuserve's $2.99/minute monopoly with their Visa-marketing method of putting a free disk in the hands of every household in America, and eventually gave birth to the term "Web surfing" when they advanced to "unlimited access" accounts.

AOL also provided the medium for Pop's first affiliate venture: Online dating services.
Pop's One2one Dating sites marketed primarily on AOL's hottest feature: the chat rooms.
(Pop is also one of the original reasons that chatroom ads were controlled and eventually banned)
Later promotion included the new PPC sites, but AOL still provided more than half of new signups.

One2one was parted out and sold to separate investors in 1997, and a few are still in operation today...The details of the sale are private, but the total sale-price made the NetNews? channels at the time.

In 1998, Pop began coaching new home-business hopefuls through a monthly newsletter called the Coach Report which is still in operation today.

Having acquired an extensive personal database of free marketing tools, wholesale sources, promotion techniques, and proven secrets, the Grandfather of Affiliate Marketing decided to share a few pieces of his collection each month with new startups in the form of a newsletter.

Using a non-intrusive, zero-pressure, free advice approach, the Coach Report has acquired a loyal membership of readers who appreciate (love?) the "I don't want your money" concept of voluntary web-coaching that Pop created with this monthly newsletter.
No "solo ads", no sales pushes, no "Special issue-You gotta buy this!" surprises.

Each issue also included (and still does) a new download to a free e-book title as a members-only bonus...For 10 years, ebooks remained Pop's best-selling product line.
His library contains over 6,000 titles...and many are still producing steady profits today!

Mystery Shoppers Wanted

posted by admin on Tue 30 of Sep, 2008 [06:17 UTC]
First of all; Yes...Despite all the skepticism, the job really is a legitimate career choice, and thousands of people are quietly making a good living as professional Mystery Shoppers...Myself included.

Second; Most of the hype you'll find in the emails from people trying to sell you info on how to get started is exaggerated...but like most lies, it is based in a little bit of truth.

Like any other job, the professionals had to "get their feet wet" to gain the experience and knowledge required to compete for the better jobs, like luxury cruises and fine dining...but even the easier jobs that hire without experience (and pay a bit less) are kinda fun.

Should you be waiting for the hype to start...don't hold your breath.
Mystery Shopper is a great way to make some extra money without going out of your way, and it really doesn't need to be hyped up.

The independence is hard to beat, and very few jobs available today can promise an extra $400-500 your first month, while only requiring about 2 hours a week...Yes: The average is about $50 an hour!
...that's not hype...One of the firms I started with still sends me jobs, and they pay $40 to $60 for each assignment, which takes about 40 minutes (plus driving time).

There are a few firms who hire inexperienced shoppers for simple retail visits. They average 10 minutes each, and pay about $1/minute...I always try to route a couple of these into my return trip from the $40 job, which maximizes my "out time"...this keeps my average at $60/hour...and that's real hard to beat for any job with this kind of flexibility.

You work when you want to, you only take the jobs /assignments you want, and each job has a 3-10 day window, so you can plan a route that allows you to cover 3-4 assignments in a couple of hours...and you just made over $100...so if an extra $500/month is all you need, then you just cleared a week's pay in 2 hours.

In the beginning I was satisfied with driving a free car...Mystery Shopping one day a week for a few hours was making the car and insurance payments...but today, I need a little more...
My Shopping days are Thursday and Friday. Starting Saturday, I collect the jobs that i want in my email inbox, and notify the agency that I'll take them...and each day i watch for as many more jobs as i can get that will fill a route between the furthest/ highest paying job and home.

By Wednesday i have a fairly full route of 4-6 jobs to run on Thursday, and by Thursday i have enough to make Friday's trip worthwhile...I average 3-4 hours on both days, and clear from $180 to $260 for the week.
You do the math: My "extra" cash averages $900 every month... for a time investment of about 7 hours a week...and more often than not, I squeeze all the jobs into one 5-hour day, and call it quits for the week.
I wish I could do more, but I already have a full-time job and run a network of websites...so spare time is a seriously thin resource.

(Of course I thought about quitting the day-job, but to be honest; The pay is amazing, the benefits can't be beat, and Dupont is a lifetime job if you want to stay...and I do.)

OK, I promised honesty without the hype...and that's about as honest as I can be without spilling the beans completely.
When you're ready to get started just drop to the bottom of this page and hit the Paypal button...this will get you full access to my hand-written and personally proven resources that will (not "can", but WILL, Guaranteed) get you started up the ladder, building your new career as a professional Mystery Shopper.

>> Keep one thing in mind: The above referenced info is written for "newbies" who have never attempted Mystery Shopping before, and aren't even sure the job actually exists.
Everyone is expected to "pay their dues" in the beginning, and that is what I've just described.

As your experience grows into a respectable Mystery Shopper's resume, you will begin competing with the pros for hundreds of higher-quality assignments, for much better pay.
That's where the "Shop the finest stores with other-people's money and keep what you buy!" hype comes from...but to be honest, you won't be considered for those better assignments until you have at least a few months of easier jobs under your belt.

Any career worth having will require a training period, and Mystery Shopping truly is a career worth having.

Thanx for taking the time to read this page,
JB.

PS: Should you have any questions at all, feel free to write me anytime.
